Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Operator to assist with clearing and removing trees along electrical lines and right-of-ways. You will operate an aerial bucket truck, use pruning tools, and may climb trees.

A minimum of six months of verifiable bucket experience is required; a CDL is preferred. The role involves travel across PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV, with a 4-10 hour shift pattern and mandatory overtime as needed, including emergency storm duty.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months verifiable experience trimming from a bucket or bucket operation in utility/tree clearance settings.
• CDL/valid driver license preferred.
• Pesticide license beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removal of trees along power lines and rights-of-way.
• Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with lines.
• Operate chain saws, pruners, and brush chipper; may climb trees with climbing equipment.
• Travel to various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV; flexible for travel and overtime.
• Work schedule includes 4-10 hour days with potential overtime and emergency storm duty.
