Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Bucket Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. You will work with Foreperson to prepare and operate equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily tasks.

The role requires physical fitness, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and willingness to travel for storm restoration. Prior heavy equipment experience is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for daily work.
• Follow safety practices and enforce rules.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Lead by example when required and assist crew members.
• Set up barriers, signs, and markers to protect workers and the public.
• Track mileage and report to Foreperson.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
