Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Florida seeks a Bucket Operator to remove branches from electrical lines, operating a bucket truck safely. A valid driver's license is required.

This full-time role requires two years in vegetation management, experience with bucket trucks, and the ability to work with crew members. Willingness to travel for storm restoration; must pass background checks and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Vegetation Management.
• Bucket truck operation experience required.
• Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with woodchipper and skid steer w/ mulcher.
• Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Prepare equipment and materials daily under Foreperson’s direction.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Lead or assist crew members as required.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Submit daily reports and mileage to Foreperson; use AMS system for timesheets and billing.
• Uphold safety practices and maintain customer relations.
