Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a BSN Instructor for the Med Surg Clinical track at our campus. This full-time role requires coordinating exams, supervising clinicals, and guiding student performance in a dynamic nursing program.

You will collaborate with fellow instructors, ensure attendance and grading, and integrate adult-learning principles to enhance instruction. A California RN license and MSN or higher are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in California or eligibility
• Master's degree or higher in nursing or nursing education/administration
• Minimum four years of direct patient care as RN
• Recent clinical teaching experience preferred
• Expertise in Medical-Surgical nursing

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams.
• Ensure attendance and submission of grades for the course.
• Assist with planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
• Orient new faculty to theory and clinical facilities.
• Apply adult-learning principles in teaching and learning.
• Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.
• Submit program reports to the Program Director promptly.
• Stay current with health and safety requirements.
• Participate in nursing program committees and faculty meetings.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in facilities.
