Job summary
Unitek Learning seeks a Full-Time BSN Nursing Instructor to join our Workforce Solutions partnership in Fresno with Community Health Systems. The instructor will provide clinical site education, skills lab, and simulation instruction to students enrolled in the Workforce Solutions program.
Responsibilities include coordinating student clinicals, evaluating performance, maintaining records, and using innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications
- Valid, unencumbered California RN license is required.
- CA BRN approval as Instructor for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics preferred.
- Master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration or relevant coursework is required.
- BSN with current enrollment in a Master's program may be considered for clinical teaching assistant.
- Minimum four years of nursing experience with recent direct patient care; RN teaching experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical site, skills lab, and simulation education per curriculum.
- Coordinate and supervise student clinical experiences in assigned facilities.
- Assess student performance against learning outcomes; provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance and skill check-offs.
- Observe, instruct, and evaluate students; ensure assignments meet site needs.
- Participate in faculty meetings and program committee activities.
