Job summary
Unitek EMT is seeking a Full-Time Medical-Surgical BSN Nursing Instructor to join the Workforce Development Partner program in Fresno. The instructor will provide clinical site, skills and simulation education to students, manage clinical rotations, and ensure alignment with Unitek College nursing curricula.
The role requires a California BRN license, teaching experience, and a Master’s degree in nursing or related field with ongoing graduate study.
Qualifications
- Minimum four-years’ experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
- One-year experience teaching nursing courses preferred; RN program teaching counts.
- Expertise in Mental Health, Medical-Surgical, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, or Critical Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical site, skills and simulation education per curriculum.
- Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in facilities.
- Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes.
- Maintain student records and attendance and assist with data collection.
- Observe, instruct, and evaluate students; provide timely feedback.
- Participate in faculty meetings and committees and support nursing program mission.
