Unitek Learning, a leading healthcare education organization, seeks a Full-Time BSN Nursing Instructor (Med Surg) to join the team at Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville. The role entails delivering clinical site, skills, and simulation instruction, coordinating with clinical facilities, and guiding students through diverse rotations.

Qualifications include a CA BRN license, a Master’s in nursing/education/administration, BSN, and at least four years of nursing experience with teaching

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California BRN license as an Instructor for Medical-Surgical and related areas.
• Master’s degree with coursework in nursing, education, or administration; academic preparation for the subject taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical site, skills, and simulation education per curriculum.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student performance against learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback on clinical performance.
• Maintain accurate attendance and skill check-off records; assist with program data collection.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs; observe, instruct, and evaluate students.
• Incorporate online activities to enhance course content; participate in program reporting.
• Attend faculty meetings and provide access to students via office hours/communication.
