Job summary

Unitek College is seeking a nursing faculty member to deliver instruction and evaluate student learning in clinical settings and simulations. The role includes supervising labs and clinical experiences, maintaining FERPA-compliant records, and contributing to course and program assessments.

The candidate will mentor students, participate in faculty development, and ensure quality of instruction across all nursing courses in alignment with program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires current RN licensure and MSN degree.
• Respondents must meet BRN requirements in the practice state.
• Experience in nursing education and teaching methodologies is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning, provide instruction, and evaluate clinicals and SCE sessions.
• Supervise and debrief students in labs, clinicals, and simulations.
• Maintain attendance records and FERPA-compliant course records.
• Prepare, administer, and grade examinations; contribute to final evaluations.
• Plan orientation and ongoing development for new faculty and staff.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure course quality and alignment with outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback on student performance and progress.
