Base pay range

$38,769.00/yr - $57,876.00/yr

BSA/AML/OFAC Quality Control Specialist

United Community is in search of a BSA/AML OFAC Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist the BSA Quality Control and Training Officer with the overall performance, maintenance, and expansion of our BSA/AML and OFAC Quality Control Program. You will identify, document, and report findings to ensure compliance with internal policies, BSA/AML related laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations.

What will you do as BSA/AML OFAC Quality Control Specialist?

• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures.
• Perform quality control reviews to evaluate work product for quality, accuracy, and sound decision-making.
• Adhere to designated time frames, manage workflow to meet deadlines, and complete responsibilities satisfactorily.
• Provide feedback and communicate effectively on the results of QC reviews.
• Assist in preparing QC reports and executing special projects or reviews.
• Report and escalate concerns or findings from QC testing to the BSA QC Officer.
• Provide recommendations to enhance BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures based on QC review assessments.
• Assist in preparing training sessions for business units to address identified risks or gaps in BSA/AML procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and assist BSA Management during exams and audits.
  
  

Required For Success

• Bachelor's degree or CAMS Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of BSA/AML and OFAC experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
