Located in the Warehouse District in The Barnett Hotel, we are hiring professional servers to join our team.**SUMMARY**We are seeking a candidate with full-time flexible availability to serve during different meal periods in hotel restaurant. The Restaurant Server is responsible for identifying the needs of guests and accommodating to those needs. Serve the guests quickly and efficiently with complete knowledge of the restaurant menu. Maintain station in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift.## CORE FOCUS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESQualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.Follow established service sequence for consistent food & beverage guest experiences.Handle payment for guests purchases in compliance with HRI and cash handling procedures.Properly ring guest orders through the POS system.Maintain positive guest relations at all times.Work with a spirit of teamwork. Communicate needs and ideas to management.Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the outlet menu.Follows all safety and sanitation policies.Upsell items to guests.Properly check all guests’ identification to ensure legal age compliance.Perform side work as needed.Keep server station clean and organized.## ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional restaurant experience (host, food runner, bus person, etc.) preferred.
