Job summary

Hash Kitchen, the unicorn of brunch, is hiring a Prep Cook to join our energetic team. You will prep, cook, and present high-quality breakfast and brunch items in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and work with a passionate group to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Training is provided to build skills and advance within Hash Kitchen.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Previous Kitchen experience is preferred but we offer on the job training
• Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy every need of our guests
• Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry

Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food, etc.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out the trash, etc.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
