Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Nashville, TN seeks aCook to accurately and efficiently prepare hot food and portion items before cooking. You will also plate and garnish cooked dishes and prepare garnishes for all hot menu items.

We require a minimum of 1 year in kitchen preparation and cooking, with the ability to follow our standards and recipes, maintain cleanliness, and communicate clearly with team members. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of kitchen prep and cooking experience.
• Able to follow Ruby Standards and recipes consistently.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food products and portion food prior to cooking.
• Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare garnishes for hot menu items.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow kitchen rules.
