Job summary

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking a kitchen team member to accurately and efficiently prepare hot food items, portion food before cooking, and assist with plating and garnishing. This role emphasizes following Ruby standards and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include communicating clearly with managers and team members, adhering to portion sizes and recipes, and supporting overall kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours.
• Excellent communication with team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot food products accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and portion food prior to cooking.
• Plate and garnish cooked items.
• Prepare garnishes for hot menu items.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Follow kitchen policies and procedures.
