Job summary

Stantec’s Great Lakes environmental services team is seeking an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to lead due diligence, assessment, and redevelopment efforts for Midwest communities. You will guide Phase I/II work, coordinate with field staff, and manage grant-funded projects, schedules, and budgets while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes (upper Midwest) state.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field, with licensure preferred.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects in at least one Great Lakes state.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with attention to safety, quality, detail, budget, and deadlines.
• Oversee staff completing Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos and lead-based paint sampling, and deliver senior reviews.
• Prepare proposals and other marketing materials.
• Assist with preparing grant applications to fund environmental projects.
• Scoping and scheduling field investigations.
