Job summary

Stantec’s Great Lakes environmental services team seeks an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to lead due diligence and redevelopment efforts across the Midwest. The role focuses on environmental assessment, remediation, and community revitalization with emphasis on grant-funded projects.

Candidates should have 10+ years in environmental projects, strong writing skills, and knowledge of state/federal regulations. Office-based with field exposure; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes (upper Midwest) state.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects in at least one Great Lakes state; licensure desired.
• Strong writing and communication skills; understanding of project management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with attention to safety, quality, detail, budget, and deadlines.
• Oversee Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, sampling projects, and senior review of deliverables.
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials; assist with grant applications.
