Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Brownfield Project Manager for the Great Lakes East environmental services team. You will lead due diligence, assessment, remediation, and brownfield redevelopment projects across the Midwest, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental due diligence and project management, with a solid understanding of state and federal regulations and grant-funded projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes state.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects in at least one Great Lakes state; licensure desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with focus on safety, quality, and budgets.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs, asbestos and lead-based paint sampling with scope, schedule, and budget guidance.
• Prepare proposals and other marketing materials.
• Assist with grant applications to fund environmental projects.
• Coordinate field investigations and schedules.
• Develop and review work plans and health and safety plans; supervise field staff.
