Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Job Developer to build and sustain employer partnerships and facilitate competitive job placements for individuals in SUD recovery. You will work with vocational counselors and community partners to connect Bronx residents to meaningful, sustainable employment within Montefiore's OASAS-funded program.

Responsibilities include cultivating employer relationships, coordinating referrals, tracking outcomes, and providing post-placement support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred in related field.
• Experience in vocational or substance use programs with patients who have SUD is desirable.
• Knowledge of workforce incentives (WOTC) and fair chance hiring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain employer relationships across healthcare, hospitality, construction, green jobs, and logistics.
• Coordinate with counselors to align participant plans with employer opportunities.
• Track placement activities and outcomes in the program data system; provide post-placement support for 90 days.
• Conduct employer education sessions on fair chance hiring and recovery-friendly practices.
• Provide resume, job search, and interview coaching to participants.
