Job summary

Partnership with Children is seeking a part-time Group Leader for the South Bronx Academy for Applied Media to support after-school programming in person. The position offers $19/hour with 15 hours weekly, typically weekday afternoons from 2:30pm to 6pm.

Availability to work Weekday/Afternoon/Evening is required, and the role is fully in-person with no remote option. You will supervise groups of students, assist with homework, help implement activities with the Activity Specialist, and ensure a

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children, especially in after-school settings preferred.
• Strong reliability, punctuality and ability to work with youth.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all program participants.
• Assist with homework completion.
• Assist Activity Specialist in implementing lessons and activities.
• Provide constant supervision to assigned groups of children.
• Ensure classrooms and activity areas are clean and organized.
• Motivate and engage participants.
• Report incidents affecting safety or quality of services to supervisors.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Follow safety protocols per NY/ DYCD guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
