Job summary
New York Life is seeking a Brokerage Operations Manager – NYLIFE Securities to lead a team of about 11 professionals supporting transfer of assets and account maintenance for brokerage and mutual fund accounts. The role reports to senior leadership and focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model.
You’ll collaborate across Service, Agency, Product, Compliance and Legal to resolve issues, coach staff, and uphold high service standards for
Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7, 24 and 53 licenses required.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in service/operations.
- Strong knowledge of brokerage/mutual fund products and service practices.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving capabilities with CI experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead service/operational performance and set team priorities.
- Provide principal oversight, reviews, and control reporting.
- Coach and develop talent, driving performance and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital innovation (automation, AI tools).
- Collaborate across Service, Agency, Product, Compliance, Legal on initiatives.
