Job summary

Truist in High Point, NC seeks an in-office Sales Assistant to support Financial Advisors with client servicing, investment research, and trade processing.

You will manage the calendar, schedule client meetings, enter data in Salesforce, prepare correspondence, and assist with account documentation and onboarding.

This role emphasizes accuracy, professional communication, and adherence to regulatory practices as you contribute to team success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in the securities industry or sales assistant role preferred.
• Knowledge of securities markets and brokerage accounts.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses; can obtain within 365 days of employment.
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in servicing clients, including preparing financial plans, conducting research, and completing trades.
• Receive and place orders as directed, respond to market queries and order features.
• Process corporate actions requiring licensure when applicable.
• Schedule and coordinate client meetings, enter data in Salesforce, prepare communications and maintain client records.
• Manage the Financial Advisor’s calendar and maximize appointment productivity.
• Identify sales opportunities and support onboarding and product guidance for clients.
• Provide operational guidance and ensure proper documentation and forms are completed.
