Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an in-office Service & Administrative support role for Financial Advisors. You will service clients, process trades, prepare financial plans, and manage calendars and documentation to ensure smooth client experiences.

The position requires FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses or the ability to obtain them within 365 days, strong communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and related training.
• Experience in the securities industry and/or a sales assistant role.
• Knowledge of securities markets and brokerage accounts.
• Knowledge of annuity products.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Candidates can obtain remaining licenses within 365 days.
• Exceptional telephone skills and professional client interactions.
• Effective time management.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, managers and teammates.
• Ability to evaluate and utilize detailed technical information.
• Self-directed work style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Advisors in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing client trades and transactions.
• Receive and place orders as directed from Financial Advisor and clients; respond to market info queries and order features details.
• Process corporate actions where licensing is warranted.
• Schedule and confirm client appointments, enter data in SalesForce, prepare meetings and client correspondence.
• Manage the Financial Advisor's calendar to maximize appointment productivity.
• Maximize sales opportunities by contacting potential investment clients using internal leads.
• Provide operational guidance to Financial Advisors.
• Ensure new business paperwork is prepared and submitted with signatures and follow-up.
• Authenticate calls for high-risk transactions and maintain security standards.
• Maintain a professional environment and positive client impression.
• Process operational requests as instructed by Advisor/clients (distributions, deposits, journals, ACAT, etc.).
• Coordinate reports with Advisor, e.g., fund distributions and RMDs.
