The role focuses on the Western US region with regular broker interactions and occasional travel.

Ideal candidates have extensive excess and surplus experience, strong CL underwriting knowledge, and a track record of managing broker

Qualifikationen

• Eight years of commercial lines underwriting experience with large or complex accounts.
• Excess & Surplus lines experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CL underwriting, insurance law, and pricing.
• Ability to develop endorsements and manuscript wording.

Aufgaben

• Research and develop new classes of business; assess market viability and develop forms and endorsements.
• Review risks with brokers and decide to decline or accept based on information.
• Achieve production and loss ratio goals through broker management and marketing.
• Oversee policy maintenance, endorsements, and changes; review loss control results.
• Develop broker relationships and travel as needed for training or marketing.
