Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking an experienced customer service professional to support brokers by phone or written communication in a hybrid on-site model. Your duties include handling inquiries on commissions, product information and policies for multiple product lines while meeting call and correspondence targets.

Experience in health insurance is preferred, with emphasis on benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge. Monday–Friday shifts and occasional in-office presence are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Previous health insurance industry experience preferred.
• Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.
• Bilingual may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced customer service support to brokers via telephone or written communication.
• Assist agents and brokers with inquiries on commissions, legislation, product information and policies.
• Maintain expected call handling and correspondence processing metrics.
• Coordinate mailings and fulfillment requests.
• Assist in broker road shows and provide reports to brokers.
• Participate in special projects as needed.
