Job summary

Corporate Synergies is seeking an Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative to assist with claims resolution, benefits inquiries, and eligibility concerns for clients' administrators and employees. You will work with clients and carriers via phone and email to resolve matters within a 24-hour timeframe.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in customer service/call center environment.
• Experience with an insurance industry carrier, broker, or related vendor.
• Knowledge of eligibility, medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of benefit summaries and Benefit Plan Descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Address client employee insurance concerns and assist with claims resolution and pre-certifications.
• Educate client employees on optimal benefit utilization and plan options.
• Enter data into Salesforce and generate client analysis reports.
• Use Salesforce to gather client information and improve service quality.
• Monitor timelines to ensure benefit issues and claims close within 24 hours.
• Review SPDs and benefit summaries for accuracy.
• Provide expertise on insurance processes and plan descriptions to clients.
• Serve as a primary resource delivering exceptional customer service.
