Job summary

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is seeking an experienced Broiler Cook to prepare meats, poultry and seafood to the restaurant’s exacting standards. You will supervise the kitchen line during service, coordinate timing and ensure optimal plate presentation while maintaining sanitation and safety throughout the shift.

Requires strong communication with the Chef and team, and prior broiler cook experience in a fine dining environment is preferred. Nights, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with supervisors, team members, vendors and business representatives.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience as a broiler cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook all meats, poultry and seafood to Ruth’s Chris standards and plate presentation.
• Supervise kitchen line during service and coordinate quality, flow and timing of food.
• Prepare station setup, follow recipe cards and maintain sanitation and safety practices.
• Check par levels, stock meats and maintain temperature controls.
• Collaborate with Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
