Workstream is seeking a skilled broiler cook to prepare delicious meals according to our menu. You will follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals, move around the kitchen efficiently, and multitask to keep up with demand.

Experience with various ingredients and cooking techniques is important to help preserve and enhance our reputation as we expand our clientele. Benefits include a bi-weekly cash tip out and a shift meal for each full shift.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment, especially broiler and flat top.
• Proficient in various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Culinary school or prior culinary experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a sanitized and well-organized kitchen.
• Preparing workstations for cooking.
• Maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Checking the quality of the ingredients.
• Arranging food and ensuring appealing presentation.
