Job summary

ABC Network News Engineering Operations in Washington, DC seeks a broadcast maintenance technician to support a 24/7 television facility. You will help install and maintain studio equipment, control rooms, and editing systems, collaborating with a team to ensure award-winning ABC News shows run smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in broadcast maintenance and familiarity with studio, transmission, and editing systems, plus knowledge of SMPTE 2110, AES67, and Dante is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of broadcast maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of television systems including studio, transmission, and editing tools.
• Knowledge of network-based video/audio tech (SMPTE 2110, AES67, Dante) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing 24/7 support for a television broadcast facility.
• Assist in building and maintaining studios, control rooms, and editing systems.
• Install and configure equipment including switchers, audio consoles, routers, and editors.
