Job summary

You will participate in deploying new technologies, supporting engineering projects, evaluating and maintaining equipment, and coordinating with management to meet company goals while complying with FCC rules; expect occasional extended hours, weekends, and a proactive, learning mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years broadcast engineering experience.
• Repair and maintenance of video cameras, video routers, ingest and playout servers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work extended hours including overnights/weekends.
• Be initiative-taking and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all broadcast and technology equipment in the facility.
• Help implement new technologies and technical infrastructure for the facility.
• Participate in engineering and other technical projects.
• Evaluate, install, service, and maintain facility broadcast equipment and information technology systems.
• Work closely with management to ensure company objectives are met.
• Basic understanding of FCC rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
