Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician to install broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customer locations in Birmingham, AL. You will work independently, greet customers, and ensure seamless activation of the latest technology while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires a valid state driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and readiness for overtime, weekend shifts, and travel to multiple sites. A sign-on bonus may apply and benefits are generous.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Be available for overtime, emergency call-outs and holiday work.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs for ladder setup and installation.
• Willing to work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Identify wire and cable colors during installations.
• Be able to qualify on a pre-employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes or businesses.
• Work independently as a trusted technician delivering seamless activation of AT&T technology.
• Meet customers daily, solve installation problems, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
