Job summary

AT&T is seeking an Installation Technician to independently install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi and voice services at customers’ homes or small businesses. You will engage with customers, troubleshoot, and ensure seamless network setup in a dynamic, field-based role across North Carolina locations.

Candidates must be available for evenings and weekends, hold a valid driver’s license, and be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Lift and move up to 60 lbs – some ladders weigh 50-60 lbs.
• Weigh less than 325 lbs., required for ladder safety.
• Occasionally work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Be available for overtime, emergency call outs and holiday work.
• Identify wire and cable colors.
• Qualify on pre‑employment assessment.

Responsibilities

• Install latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers' homes or businesses.
• Deliver best-in-class service and solve problems on-site.
• Meet new customers daily and ensure smooth installation and activation.
