Job summary

Armstrong is seeking a motivated Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair our Internet and telephone services for residential and commercial customers using fiber-optic GPON technology. You will work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with cutting-edge equipment.

Responsibilities include voice/data service installation, safety-compliant tasks, and timely reporting. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift over 50 pounds; BPI

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma; IT/electronics training is a plus.
• Customer-first problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
• Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and work outdoors.

• Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.

• Stay ahead of trends through continuous training and development.

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated Broadband Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of our Internet and telephone services for both residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You’ll Do

• High school diploma (advanced education in IT, electronics, or a related field is a plus!).

• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.
• Physical ability to bend, climb, sit, and lift over 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.
