Job summary

Armstrong Group in Meadville, PA is hiring a Broadband Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair internet and phone services for residential and commercial customers using fiber optics. You will work hands-on with modern equipment in a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.

The role requires a high school diploma (IT/electronics a plus), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma required; IT/electronics coursework is a plus.
• Ability to pass BPI certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot voice and data services, using testing equipment and following safety guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and safety compliance.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, digging, and drilling as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide timely, detailed paperwork and feedback to improve services.
• Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current with tech trends.
• Participate in on-call and shift work as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated Broadband Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of our Internet and telephone services for both residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with cutting-edge fiber-optic technology in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
