Job description

Job Title: Line Cook

Our menu features fresh, prepared-to-order classic dishes from regional Italian recipes, and the ambiance mirrors that of a lively family gathering. Position Overview: A Line Cook is an hourly, non-exempt team member who reports directly to the Executive Chef. The role involves providing quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of the menu, recipes, and ingredients; ensure proper preparation to meet standards.
  • Quickly learn new recipes, techniques, and menu updates.
  • Follow recipes for consistency and answer guest questions accurately.
  • Contribute to food cost management through proper inventory handling.
  • Maintain knowledge of property layouts, table setups, capacity, hours, pricing, and dress codes.
  • Ensure proper food presentation, temperature, and garnish standards.
  • Be organized, maintain concentration, and multitask effectively.
  • Perform physical movements required for the job and work with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to sanitation, health regulations, and company standards.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of workstations throughout shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to two years of experience and/or training preferred.
