Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC is seeking a Technical Sales & Promotions Engineer for Structures products in the Baton Rouge area. You will drive technical marketing, promotion, and sales, providing regulatory guidance and consultative solution development to engineers, agencies, contractors, and project owners.

The role emphasizes field marketing, territory development, and pricing strategy, requiring a civil/Mechanical background, 3+ years of experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Mechanical, or related field; P.E. preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Able to translate engineer/owner/contractor needs into product solutions.
• Strong communication of technical concepts.
• Proficient in reading civil site plans.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM; valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Drive marketing, promotion, and sales for Bridge and Structures lines to owners, agencies, engineers, and contractors in the civil infrastructure construction industry.
• Develop territory relationships and opportunities with specifying engineers and agencies within the assigned region.
• Implement a defined marketing and sales system focusing on consultative marketing and selling.
• Demonstrate civil engineering knowledge for product solutions related to Bridge and Structures lines.
• Develop budgetary pricing for initial project design and final project pricing during the transactional sales process.
• Lead territory field marketing directed at public agencies, DOTs, and regulatory agencies for the Bridge and Structures product portfolio.
