Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern in Florida to join a multidisciplinary team on bridges and other infrastructure projects. You will assist with design, analysis, and documentation under licensed engineers, gaining practical experience across private and public sectors.

You will work with a mix of design tasks, calculations, and CAD modeling while developing familiarity with cost estimates and drawings for complex projects, in a hybrid environment with mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of bridge design practices through coursework or work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Office Suite; prior exposure to structural engineering software preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of bridges and other structures under professional supervision.
• Prepare plans, calculations, and cost estimates for structural projects.
• Contribute to drawings or CAD models and project documentation.
