Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Bridge/Structural Design) for Summer 2027 in Boise, ID. You will assist on large-scale infrastructure projects, applying your civil engineering coursework to real-world structural design challenges.

You will work with experienced engineers, supporting field data collection, bridge design tasks, and construction documentation while gaining hands-on experience in industry-standard software. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or near completion of a BS in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Completed coursework in structural engineering, bridge design, and transportation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist in field data collection for structural improvement projects.
• Assist with basic bridge geometry design and layout.
• Support development of construction plans and technical specifications for structural projects.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation.
• Participate in observation and record-keeping during construction work.
