Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team in Morristown, NJ or Clark, NJ, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide.

You will assist in the design, analysis, and maintenance of structural systems including bridges, with mentorship from professional engineers and other senior staff, gaining hands-on experience across buildings and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of bridge design practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Office Suite.
• Previous experience with structural engineering software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, analysis, and maintenance of structural systems including bridges.
• Prepare plans, calculations and cost estimates under supervision.
• Create structural models using CAD software.
• Contribute to engineering drawings, specifications and reports.
