Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Morristown, NJ (and Clark, NJ). You will work on bridges and infrastructure, performing design and analysis tasks under senior engineers. The role blends classroom knowledge with practical experience in a multidisciplinary team.

You'll contribute to drawings, calculations, and documentation while gaining mentorship and exposure to real-world projects in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of bridge design practices from coursework or internships.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Office Suite.
• Experience with structural engineering software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, analysis, and maintenance of structural systems including bridges.
• Prepare plans, designs, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision.
• Create structural CAD models and compile engineering drawings and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
