Benesch is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Franklin or Nashville office on a hybrid schedule. You will design vehicular and pedestrian bridges, perform basic analysis, and prepare structural calculations under the guidance of a Project Manager.

Candidates should have a BS in civil engineering with a structural emphasis, 0–2 years experience, and proficiency with MicroStation; TDOT experience is a plus. Join a firm that values growth, teamwork, and client-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• EI or the ability to obtain.
• 0 to 2+ years of structural design experience.
• Excellent communication and client relations skills.
• Progressive experience with developing plans and specifications utilizing MicroStation.
• Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design.
• Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working with TDOT is a benefit.
• Experience with MicroStation is a benefit.
