Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bridge design experience or equivalent.
• PE License in Tennessee or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with TDOT standards and local municipalities.
• Strong leadership, client relationship, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Bentley CAD and structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from concept to delivery, including bridges and retaining walls.
• Prepare and review calculations, plans, specs, cost estimates, and reports.
• Mentor and direct structural designers and engineers.
• Coordinate scopes, budgets, estimates, and pay items per TDOT requirements.
• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals, and project strategies.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality to meet client and regulatory standards.
• Ensure independent quality control reviews of design calculations and plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex design challenges.
