Job summary

Benesch in Tennessee seeks a seasoned Structural Project Manager to lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural projects, coordinating with clients and a team of engineers.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring, and development of scopes of work, with TDOT experience and a Tennessee PE preferred.

Hybrid work from Franklin or Nashville offices, with growth opportunities in client relationships and project delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bridge design experience
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• P.E. license in Tennessee or reciprocity
• Experience with TDOT and/or local municipalities
• Strong technical expertise in bridge design and structural analysis
• Experience developing complete design packages
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Experience developing scopes of work, fee proposals, and contracts
• Proficiency with Bentley CAD and structural design software

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to delivery including bridges and retaining walls
• Prepare and review calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports
• Mentor structural designers and engineers
• Coordinate project plans and TDOT standard requirements
• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals, and contracts with clients
• Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables and quality control
