Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs Bridge Crew Equipment Operator duties for Holly Hill Bridge Maintenance Unit.
• Operates light to heavy duty tools and medium/small equipment for road and bridge work.
• Inspects vehicles and equipment and reports issues.
• Coordinates traffic control setup and work zone safety.
• Supports emergency and inclement weather operations.
• May work extended hours or shifts as needed.
