Job summary

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is seeking a Program Manager for the Bridge Program within the Infrastructure Project Management Administration (IPMA) to lead mega-bridge projects and asset management.

The role requires a PE license, DC licensure within 12 months, and leadership of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on design standards, schedules, and compliance with federal regulations. Office-based with field supervision and flexible duties.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program or equivalent with calculus/advanced engineering science.
• Combination of education and experience in engineering principles and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of civil/structural engineers and technicians.
• Review complex transportation design programs for conformity to standards and objectives.
• Direct and oversee division engineers in design program management and schedules.
