Job summary

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support bridge and paving projects in Southern Illinois. You will assist the Project Manager and Estimator with daily admin tasks to ensure estimates are accurate and projects stay on time and within budget.

The role requires coordination with subcontractors, review of documents, CPM scheduling, QA/QC, and adherence to safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• Experience in construction industry, bridges & structures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend the project turnover meeting (estimating to operations).
• Assist in generating/maintaining project schedules, both cash flow and workload.
• Attend job meetings and assist in submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA standards and company policies.
