Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates with 8 years of relevant construction inspection experience may substitute experience for a high school diploma)
• A minimum of 3 years experience
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge inspections and prepare reports in accordance with NBIS and NCDOT.
• Oversee field inspections of in-service bridge and culvert structures, overhead sign structures, and metal traffic signal poles.
• Supervise safety and documentation during inspections and maintain compliant records.
