The role involves operating a Lowboy Truck Tractor for transport as needed and performing routine maintenance on bridges and surrounding infrastructure.

Candidates should have at least one year of related experience, a valid driver's license on entry, and must obtain a Class A CDL within six months of placement.

Qualifications

• One year of related work experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required on entry.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within six months.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable conditions.
• May include extended hours, nights and weekends during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator, backhoe and other heavy equipment for bridge construction and maintenance.
• Set piles, pour concrete caps, and place rip-rap as part of maintenance tasks.
• Transport equipment using a Lowboy Truck Tractor when required.
• Perform work in traffic-adjacent and outdoor environments with weather considerations.
• Assist with emergency and inclement weather operations.
