Job summary

LS Gallegos & Associates is seeking a Part-Time Inspection Team Leader in Denver to supervise bridge inspections, provide technical oversight, and grow in project management within the bridge engineering field. This position requires 7+ years of bridge inspection experience, a Civil Engineering degree (PE in CO preferred) or NBIS Team Leader qualification,

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of bridge inspection experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Colorado PE license or NBIS Team Leader qualification within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of structural design and analysis.
• Strong writing and speaking skills; ability to convey technical aspects to stakeholders.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and oversee bridge inspections in accordance with NBI Standards and safety protocols.
• Supervise and mentor inspection team members.
• Obtain relevant access permits.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules.
• Use web-based software to update asset information and generate inspection reports.
• Apply bridge engineering analysis software and MS Office.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Perform field work year-round in various conditions; climb ladders and carry gear.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication; travel as needed.
