Job summary

Datreose in Secaucus, NJ seeks an Assistant Bridge Inspection Team Leader to support field inspections of bridges, tunnels and highway structures. You will assist Team Leaders, help prepare reports and CAD drawings, and contribute to structural analysis as needed.

Requirements: BS in Civil or Structural Eng, 0-2 years experience, EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months, and familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, MathCAD, Office, AASHTOWare BrR/BrD, MIDAS, and LARSA.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, MathCAD, Microsoft Office, AASHTOWare BrR/BrD, MIDAS, and LARSA.

Responsibilities

• Assist inspection Team Leaders during field inspections to determine the structural condition of bridges and other structures.
• Write technical inspection reports and review the work of other staff.
• Assist with the preparation of CAD drawings needed for bridge and highway projects, as needed.
• Assist with the structural analysis of bridges and other structures, as needed.
• Assist Project Managers with meeting project deliverables and budgets.
