Job summary

WSP USA is hiring a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, Senior Structural Engineer for the Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New England, including CT and MA locations. The role combines field work with leadership responsibilities and ongoing development of inspection methods.

The candidate will perform structural engineering tasks, supervise junior staff, and contribute to load ratings and project documentation. Travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of bridge/tunnel inspection or related experience.
• Engineer in Training Certification (PE preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and design/build processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of inspection projects.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and inspections.
• Assist in development of plans/sketches using AutoCAD.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and lead project teams.
