DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION in Phoenix seeks a Bridge Management Engineer to lead inspection teams and ensure NBIS-compliant bridge inspections across the state. The role includes reporting, inventory updates, and coordinating repairs, with statewide travel including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NBIS and bridge management standards.
• Bridge inspection report writing and cost estimation.
• Familiar with bridge inventory data updates.
• Civil engineering principles for highway systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, travel, direct an inspection team for NBIS-compliant inspections.
• Drive State vehicle during State business.
• Write bridge inspection reports with findings and priorities.
• Review reports by teams and suggest improvements.
